EN AW 1100 Aluminum Sheet H12 H14 H18 Temper Excellent Ductility and Welding
Description
1100 is commercially pure aluminum, the content aluminum is 99.00%, it is the most heavily alloyed of the 1000 series, it can not be strengthed by heat treatment. It has excellent ductility, corrosion resistant, welding, low density and strength, it also has good thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. Other properties are similar as 1050A.The corrosion resistant can be improved by anodising processing which also make the surface more buautiful.

Welding
1100 Aluminum sheet can be readily welded by all conventional methods. There are many sources of energy in modern welding, such as gas flame, arc, laser, electron beam, friction and ultrasonic wave.
Cold Working
This is an ideal alloy for cold working because of the good ductility in the annealed temper. It can be cold formed by bending, drawing or spinning. Normally, it is under room temperature, we can get sheet and plate with accurate dimension and smooth surface by this processing step.
Annealing
For the annealing, it may be necessary after severe cold working, it is done at 650°F(≈343.3°C) for sufficient time to allow for thorough heating and then air cooled.
